how come my dog want come down stairs?
i just don't know what to do. i bought a new kitty and every sense i let the kitty wear punomia's little pink sweater she has been up stairs and now want come down. its so sad because the lil kitty really loves her.
i wish she would learn to share her clothing they even wear the same booties. what do i do? i even had to buy another purse bcause she would not allow frufru to acompany her.

Or rather just found my poor kitty, Jojo, yesterday... I feel sooo sad about it... I put him in the basement the other day and I was about to let him out yesterday morning [we usually do this too] but this window in the basement was open... and jo's, um, foot, well I'll just say that probably some damn wild animal got in... idk how the window was left open but I feel awful. I think he might've been in pain and was going to die later anyway... he had a bladder problem about this time last year...
How can I get over this, even a little...? We just buried him way back out in our yard yesterday.

I know he was just a cat, but he was like family. We rescued him from a mean family about 2-3 years ago...
Oh, Jojo was such a beautiful kitty. I feel so bad for you especially considering what happened. None of my cats are just cats, they are family. I love them just as much as any human. You are doing the right thing in talking about it, posting pics and burying him close by. Did you have a memorial service? That might help. When my daughter's Sandy cat died we had a regular funeral and planted a Peace Rose on his grave. It helped both of us through the grieving process and was a way to honor him for all the years of joy he gave us. You do have some lessons to learn from this experience, but don't let in haunt you, just go on and be a better pet owner when you get another kitty. Most people who have pets outlive them, so it is something we must deal with and it is hard when you love them so much. I don't think Jojo would want you to be alone and there are so many others who need rescuing. I know now is not the time, but someday you will have another kitty to love.
